We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead pricing technology and operational improvement initiatives across Pricing and Sales Operations. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating complex business requirements into scalable processes, analytics & data-driven insights, and sustainable system solutions. 

The position plays a critical role in the ongoing optimization and support of Model N capabilities, including Pricing, Quoting, Registration Management, and Channel Management.
 

The successful candidate will partner closely with Pricing, Sales Operations, IT, Order Management, Customer Service, business units, software vendors, and implementation partners to deliver business value across the solution lifecycle. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, process design, solution implementation, testing, reporting, data governance, user adoption, production support, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate combines deep business analysis expertise, strong commercial and pricing process knowledge, data-driven decision-making skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. 

Success in this role requires the ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable solutions, align diverse stakeholder groups, and drive strategic initiatives from concept through delivery and value realization.
 

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a lead business analyst and subject matter expert for Model N pricing, quoting, registration, and channel management capabilities, ensuring alignment with Pricing and Sales Operations objectives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable processes, system enhancements, reporting solutions, and technology roadmaps.
  • Drive Salesforce and Model N enhancement initiatives, including requirements definition, solution design, testing, deployment, adoption, and post-production support.
  • Provide end-user support through training, issue resolution, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze pricing performance, operational metrics, and reporting insights to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improved business outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to implement AI-enabled capabilities, automation and process improvements that enhance efficiency, data quality, and user experience.
  • Manage change requests, system enhancements, and issue resolution across internal teams and external partners, ensuring timely delivery and operational stability.
  • Influence enterprise decision-making by developing recommendations, and long-term capability strategies that support commercial growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. 
  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, Pricing operations, Sales Operations, commercial systems, or a related role. 
  • Experience with semiconductor pricing, distribution, contracts, quoting, backlog repricing, or order management processes.
  • Proven ability to facilitate requirements gathering sessions, lead business process mapping and design activities, and translate complex business needs into sustainable processes, functional requirements, and solution recommendations.
  • Experience analyzing data, validating system outputs, investigating discrepancies, and performing root-cause analysis. 
  • Strong understanding of business processes, data flows, system integrations, reporting requirements, and change impacts.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large or complex datasets. 
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, QlikView, or similar reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Experience developing Excel-based tools, VBA macros, SQL queries, Power Automate flows, or similar automation solutions that support data integration, enterprise system uploads, and business process improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ModelN, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Zilliant, CPQ, or comparable CRM, ERP, pricing, and revenue-management platforms.
  • Experience supporting system implementations or pricing transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methods, sprint testing, Jira, change requests, and requirements traceability.
  • Experience with AI-enabled solutions, workflow automation, or business productivity tools.
  • Master’s degree or relevant business-analysis, project-management, data, or technology certification.
