Business Analyst - Nordics

Nordics is our biggest Direct to Merchant (DTM) business and we aim to support the growth of this business through better use of data. 

This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of data-driven decision-making, where your analytical skills directly impact business strategy. You'll dive deep into profitability analysis, pricing models, and data quality assessments - turning raw data into powerful insights that shape the future of merchant acquiring.

This position can be based in Helsinki, Finland or Herlev, Denmark.

Key responsibilities  

• Gather and analyze business requirements to design and implement data solutions 
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis 
• Perform profitability analysis on merchant, segment, market levels 
• Build pricing models 
• Conduct data profiling and data quality assessments to ensure accurate reporting 
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to create ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed 
• Provide training and support to end-users 
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in data analytics 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field 
• Minimum of 6 years experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst or Financial Analyst role or similar role where you have been using data to drive business insights and decision-making
• Native or Fluent Finnish or Danish, plus advanced English language
• General business knowledge on dynamics of merchant acquiring is highly preferred to support our acquiring business across Nordics
• Strong proficiency with data visualization tools and MS Office Suit 
• Strong proficiency with SQL and database management 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and ability to disseminate significant amounts of information 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously 
• Experience in generating process documentation and reports
