The Office of the Chief Investment Officer, led by co-CIO Harry Schwefel, supports the success and development of our long/short discretionary investment professionals, oversees our sector executive, portfolio construction, and liquidity groups, and to continues to advance the tools and resources available to our teams.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for aiding across all areas of the long/short research & portfolio management platform product strategy & execution. Specifically, you will:
- Partner with the Head of Product Design to deliver best-in-class tools to our investment professionals, leveraging data insights to drive innovation.
- Generate bespoke reports and dashboards from a variety of sources across the firm to track and evaluate product KPIs.
- Own the infrastructure and processes related to analytics projects.
- Work closely with firm management and our investment professionals to gain a deep understanding of our L/S investing business to inform analytics and reporting efforts.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and software developers to conceptualize and deliver technology tools aimed at improving the firm’s investment and management processes.
- Effectively communicate data-driven insights and trends to firm management
What's Required
- 3-5 years of professional experience working in Finance or Technology
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Organization and project management skills and experience
- Experience delivering solutions through the entire software development life cycle
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), SQL, Python or other coding languages
- Proficiency in Tableau or other BI platforms
- Understanding of core finance and investing concepts
- Excellent communication skills are required to provide independent and objective viewpoints, propose appropriate solutions, and drive meaningful change

The annual base salary range for this role is $135,000-$170,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
