Do you help our department navigate complex business processes and IT changes?
What you are going to do
We are looking for an experienced and driven IT Business Analyst who makes a difference in a complex, ever-changing environment. You will work at the intersection of business and IT at NN within the Intermediary Non-Life IT department. You are the connecting link who translates strategic ambitions into concrete IT solutions — and you do so with both analytical sharpness and strong interpersonal influence.
Your responsibilities include:
- Gathering, documenting, and validating functional and non-functional requirements with stakeholders
- Translating product specifications into clear IT requirements that can be directly used by development teams
- Modeling as-is and to-be business processes and conducting impact analyses in IT transformation programs
- Acting as a linking pin in programs with multiple workstreams, vendors, and parallel deliverables
- Identifying risks, dependencies, and scope changes, and proactively escalating where necessary
What we offer you
NN invests in an inclusive, inspiring work environment and in skills and competences for the future. We match this with employee benefits that are in line with what is needed today and in the future. This way, we offer our employees the opportunity to get the best out of themselves. We offer you:
- Salary between €5,339 en €7,119 depending on your knowledge and experience
- 13th month and holiday allowance are paid with your monthly salary
- 27 vacation days for a 5-day working week and three Diversity Days
- A modern pension administered by BeFrank
- Plenty of training and learning opportunities
- NS Business Card 2nd class, which gives you unlimited travel, also privately. Do you prefer to travel with your own transport? Then you can declare the kilometers travelled
- Allowances for setting up your home office and for internet use
Who you are
- HBO/WO (Bachelor’s or Master’s) level of thinking and working
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment
- Experience within the insurance sector is a hard requirement — you understand products, processes, and regulations, and their implications for IT systems
- A proven track record in successfully guiding complex IT transformation programs — from legacy migrations and platform replacements to core system implementations
- Strong stakeholder management skills across different levels and disciplines, with the ability to create buy-in for complex changes, even in the face of resistance
- Clear, concise, and situational communication skills — both written and verbal — in Dutch and English
Nice-to-haves that set you apart
- Experience with core insurance platforms and back-end systems such as Salesforce, SAP FS-PM, SAP FS-CM, etc.
- Knowledge of data migration, policy migration, or API integrations within an insurance context
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. IIBA CBAP/CCBA) or project management (e.g. Prince2, SAFe)
Who you will work with
You will be part of a partially remote, cross-functional product team within the IT department of the Intermediary Non-Life division. In this department, we develop Retail and Commercial insurance products for intermediaries and direct customers. Our focus is on creating an excellent user experience, expanding our product offering, and improving operational efficiency.
