The business analyst intern’s role is to assess how the organizations is performing and partake in the improvement of the processes and systems. He/she gathers and analyses data to develop and investigate potential solutions – including improvements to systems and process – to organizational challenges. A successful business analyst is one who is proactive, provides solutions, comfortable working with complex data and aid the management in decision making.

  1. Collecting, analysing, evaluating, and reporting data to increase general sales productivity. Employ statistical and analytical tools to pinpoint valuable insights and trends within the dataset.
  2. Analysing sales as well as performance records and interpreting outcomes of overall sales. This includes defining KPIs and metrics to assess sales strategy effectiveness, conduct thorough sales data analysis to extract actionable insights, and create visual presentations for effective communication with management.
  3. Analysing business operations to determine profitability as well as to create a baseline for operational changes and action. The business analyst intern will work closely with the operations and finance teams to evaluate the effects of operational changes on overall profitability.
  4. Collecting sales trends and records and evaluating performance calculated against sales targets based on research and past data, and analyse differences between the goals and actual sales to suggest fixes.
  5. Evaluating current economic situations and preparing sales forecasts while collaborating with key stakeholders to adjust forecasts in response to changing market conditions.
  6. Computing commission for the sales team and other stakeholders and ensuring they are paid timely,
  7. Develop reporting structures and models that identify trends and determine the baseline for action and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.
  8. Assisting management in the development and evaluation of rolling sales forecast and sales budget.
  9. Analysing the performance of different sales streams and efficiency rates, giving conclusion and purpose guidance.
  10. Conduct business intelligence data mining for the sales and Operation department and present actionable recommendations based on the mined data.
  11. Ensure that sales processes are being followed according to design and regularly auditing and assessing compliance with established sales processes.
  12. Proposed solution to increase overall business performance from findings.
  13. Interact with the sales team to ensure that business processes are understood and being followed by providing training and support to ensure that sales processes are well-understood and consistently followed.
  14. Track and compile all operations and sales plan.

 





Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or any related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Advanced technical skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A track record of following through on commitments.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience leading and developing top-performing teams.


Skills Required
