Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional talented “SAP Technical Specialist / SAP Business Analyst III - Hybrid.”
What you will do:
- Gather, validate, and document business requirements that will drive global solutions and common business processes.
- Serve as the liaison between the business and technical team with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Convert business requirements into solutions, follow project management and development procedures, and provide specialist application expertise to exceed customer expectations and promote IT excellence.
- Enhance, maintain, troubleshoot, and document existing systems.
Business Analysis
- Review and verify recommended global solutions.
- Conduct a detailed review of business needs.
- Explore all possible solutions.
- Solicit buy-in from stakeholders.
Project Management
- Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plan and execute project tasks.
- Establish global priorities and implementation schedules.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Work Management
- Understand and adhere to HYMH & regulatory compliance requirements.
- Understand country-specific compliance applicable to specific systems.
Documentation and Communication
- Ensure clear documentation of business requirements, functional designs, and project plans.
- Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, business units, and technical teams.

Who you are:
- A highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with strong business analysis skills.
- An effective communicator with the ability to bridge the gap between business and IT teams.

- Experienced in project management methodologies and business process improvement.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- BS Degree with 4 or more years of experience.
- 2-year degree with 7 or more years of experience.
- 10 or more years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Understanding of SAP modules (e.g. MM, SD, PP, etc).
- Proficiency in SAP transaction codes and system navigation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues.
- Experience with SAP configuration.
Skills, Experience & Abilities:
- Experience with HYMH Project Management Method, including project control techniques (work plans, scope control, task dependencies, etc.).
- Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with business improvement processes.
- Proficiency in business analyst skills, including understanding business needs, eliciting and managing requirements, analyzing and documenting requirements, validating and verifying requirements, formulating solutions, and communicating effectively.
- Understanding of audit and compliance requirements.
- Excellent PC skills, including Windows-based applications.
- Gather sufficient information about business processes to develop detailed functional design documents for customer review and approval.
- Develop detailed test plans for user involvement and verification.
- Lead testing efforts.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of project schedules and deadlines.
- Communicate and apply IT standards.
Additional Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical issues to users.
- Ability to listen actively and understand user needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and provide effective solutions.
- Ability to analyze data and identify patterns to diagnose SAP issues.
- Ability to document SAP configurations, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
- Ability to collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ticket system is desirable.
