How will you make an impact?
The Commercial Business Analyst will serve as the subject matter authority and leader of our PowerBI/Fabric analytics environment! This role will translate sophisticated business challenges into actionable plans, facilitate partnership, and empower internal customers through training and clear communication. This individual requires a unique blend of technical expertise in PowerBI/Fabric and Finance/Sales Operations!
What will you do?
· Serve as the SME for PowerBI, owning the development, maintenance, and optimization of dashboards, reports, and data models. Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security across the PowerBI environment. Troubleshoot and translate technical issues to minimize downtime
· Translate data and insights into compelling narratives tailored to multifaceted audiences ranging from executives to operational teams.
· Facilitate workshops and meetings to capture requirements, prioritize initiatives, and align partners on analytics goals.
· Act as the primary liaison between technical teams (IT, data engineers) and business units to ensure solutions meet user needs.
· Develop and deliver training programs to upskill teams on PowerBI usage, self-service analytics, and data literacy. .Build user-friendly documentation, tutorials, and standard processes to develop adoption of PowerBI/Fabric ecosystem.
· Provide ongoing support to users, addressing questions and promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or related field
· 5+ years in business analysis, data analytics, or a similar role, with 1-3 years of hands-on PowerBI development (DAX, data modeling, visualization design)
· Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
· Proven track record of presenting insights to executives and non-technical audiences.
· Ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences and desire to improve manual processes

· Ability to communicate and work effectively with multiple levels of management.
· Strong interpersonal skills and excellent at tactical execution while understanding business priorities and long-term strategy and impact of results.
· Ability to draw candid feedback from team members through positive relationship building.
· Ability to influence all levels of business partners in a highly matrixed organization.
· Skilled at interpreting data to draw conclusions and craft a story accordingly.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI
