Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Analytics Consultant with a strong background in Marketing and Customer Analytics to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in business data analysis, with expertise in Retail, Distribution, B2B, B2C, and Marketplace domains. The role requires deep expertise in SQL query optimization, relational database management systems (RDBMS), and a strong understanding of customer lifecycle analytics, marketing campaign evaluation, and advanced statistical modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer and Marketing Analytics:
- Analyze customer lifecycle metrics, including acquisition, retention, churn, and lifetime value.
- Evaluate key marketing metrics such as CAC, AOV.
- Perform pre- and post-campaign analysis to assess marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Develop customer segmentation strategies to optimize email marketing campaigns.
SQL and Database Expertise:
- Write, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries for data retrieval, transformation, and reporting.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of database queries and stored procedures.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across relational database systems (RDBMS).
- Design and maintain data models to support efficient analytics and reporting processes.
- Understanding of marketing tools like Salesforce, Marketo for data integration and campaign optimizations.
Statistical Modeling and Insights Generation:
- Utilize statistical models to derive actionable insights into customer behavior and marketing performance.
- Customer/Marketing Analytics, Customer Life Cycle analytics, Customer Acquisition, Customer retention, Customer churn and Customer Lifetime value analysis and Statistical Modeling.
- Use data analytics and insights to identify business challenges and support business in customer retention, sales improvement, marketing campaign optimization and marketing process optimization.
Visualization and Dashboarding:
- Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Transform raw data into actionable visualizations to support strategic decision-making.
Technical Expertise:
- Leverage Python or R for advanced analytics and data processing tasks.
- Perform data transformation using Power Query or similar tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (IT&CS), business Analytics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Marketing Analytics, Customer Analytics, BI or related fields.
- Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for RDBMS.
- Advanced understanding of relational database management and performance tuning.
- Strong experience with customer lifecycle analytics, including segmentation and statistical modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI (visualization, data modeling, and transformation).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Retail, Distribution, B2B, or B2C domains.
- Familiarity with customer and email marketing analytics.
