The Role

Job Title: Business Analyst II

Location: Bengaluru

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support our finance initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse financial processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive data-informed decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of finance operations and business analysis, with a focus on optimizing reporting, automation, and performance tracking.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and technical teams to gather and analyse business requirements.
  • Support the development and automation of financial KPIs and reports using tools like Power BI, and Excel.
  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing financial processes and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct data analysis to provide insights on financial performance and drive strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment of business goals and technical solutions.
  • Monitor and validate financial data accuracy, ensuring consistency and compliance with internal controls.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, including business requirements, workflows, and data models.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for financial reports and system updates.
  • Act as a key liaison between the finance team and technical teams (e.g., SAP Turbo, ServiceNow).

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a finance or financial operations environment.
  • Strong knowledge of finance processes such as RTR (Record to Report), PTP (Procure to Pay), OTC (Order to Cash), and MDM (Master Data Management).
  • Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with financial reporting, KPI tracking, and data validation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with automation and process improvement methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
  • Knowledge of financial compliance requirements.
  • knowledge to align solutions with organisational goals and strategies.
  • Capability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and propose innovative solutions to address business challenges.
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools, data analysis software, and an understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Expertise in gathering and documenting detailed business requirements, creating functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Skill in managing relationships and expectations among diverse stakeholders, including clients, users, developers, and management.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project scopes, priorities, and timelines while remaining focused on delivering quality outcomes.
