Business Analyst II, Engineering. Southfield, MI.
- Gather requirements and record in a format useful for developers/test analysts.
- Maintain application backlog clearly describing tasks; keep backlog clean.
- Partner with developers to achieve great application performance.
- Test new features and code to ensure they satisfy business requirements.
- Analyze risks and potential impact to the business.
- Apply team coding, documenting, and testing standards.
- Recommend process improvements.
- Recognize upstream/downstream impacts; communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Understand business processes supported by software applications.
- Improve application and team processes.
- Decrease incidents and increase application uptime.
- Requires bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related field and coursework in Database Systems, Statistical Computing, Object-Oriented Programming & Design, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Regression Analysis.
