Our Early Career Business & Technology Development Track is a rigorous, 12-month accelerated program designed for high-performing graduates in Accounting, Finance, Energy Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, AI Engineering and MBA programs who thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environments.

This premier development experience provides unparalleled exposure to our business, operations, commercial strategy, digital transformation efforts, and leadership while preparing participants to solve complex business and technology challenges across critical energy infrastructure.

Through hands-on challenging assignments, structured learning, strong mentors, and direct exposure to senior leaders, you'll build the financial, analytical, technological, and leadership capabilities needed to succeed in a dynamic and evolving industry. You'll be expected to learn quickly, take ownership, and deliver results while living Williams' values of being collaborative, courageous, creative, and competitive.

Your journey begins at our corporate headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where you will participate in an intensive six-week onboarding experience focused on:

  • Building advanced professional, business, and technology capabilities
  • Developing deep knowledge of the energy industry, Williams' business model, and commercial operations
  • Strengthening financial analysis, business planning, decision-making, and risk management skills
  • Enhancing communication, collaboration, leadership, and executive presence
  • Developing data analytics, automation, business intelligence, AI, and digital problem-solving capabilities
  • Gaining proficiency in tools and technologies used to support business operations and decision-making
  • Building the resilience and adaptability required to succeed in a dynamic, high-accountability industry

Following the six-week onboarding experience, you will transition into a business assignment for the remainder of the 12-month program. Your assignment will be selected based on both business needs and your professional development goals. Most placements are located in Tulsa, OK, or Houston, TX. If relocation is required, Williams will provide relocation assistance to support your move.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Energy Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Information Systems (BIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence Engineering, or Information Technology, or a related field
  • MBA candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Graduate in December 2026 or May 2027
  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship (including OPT/CPT)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness and ability to relocate within the United States as business needs require

Pay:

Compensation is salaried rate determined by degree type:

  • Finance & Accounting/General Business Bachelor's degree = $75,000
  • MBA or Finance/Accounting/Business-Related Master's degree = $82,500
  • Computer Science/AI Engineering Bachelor's degree= $85,000
  • Computer Science/AI Engineering Master's degree = $93,500
  • MIS/BIS/CIS/Business or Data Analytics Bachelor's degree: $81,000
  • MIS/BIS/CIS/Business or Data Analytics Master's degree = $89,000
