Job Description Summary

Miami University seeks an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of people, process, and technology.
The hiring team may fill this opening with a level 1 or level 2 Business Analyst, determined by education, experience, and demonstrated skills.
The level 1 position is well-suited for someone who is curious, collaborative, and motivated to learn how business needs translate into effective technology solutions. You will work closely with clients and technical teams to understand problems, clarify goals, and help shape practical, well-considered outcomes.
The level 2 position is intended for individuals who already have hands-on experience performing business analysis–type work and are ready to operate with greater independence. You will partner directly with clients and delivery teams to clarify needs, evaluate options, and guide initiatives from early concept through implementation.
Both levels support enterprise-wide services and systems that enable student success and university operations.
