Role Overview:
We are looking for a Business Analyst with a solid foundation in Python, SQL, and data analysis. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about turning data into insights and have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in analytics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making, optimize processes, and deliver actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements
- Write efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis
- Use Python for data processing, automation, and advanced analytics (e.g., statistical analysis, modeling)
- Identify business process improvements and support automation initiatives using data insights
- Ensure data quality through validation and QA processes
- Clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science , Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in data analytics or business analysis
- Intermediate proficiency in Python (e.g., Pandas, Numpy , Matplotlib, Plotly , Scikit-Learn, Requests, BeautifulSoup , Selenium, openpyxl , rapidfuzz )
- Proficient in SQL, including writing complex queries and performance optimization
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
- Background in branches such as Petroleum, Chemical, or similar disciplines
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Exposure to data warehousing concepts and tools
