What you will be doing:
- Elicit, document, and validate requirements; write user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Analyse and map current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") financial workflows.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and sign-off.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during sprint reviews and backlog refinement.
- Assess regulatory and audit trail requirements
What our client is looking for:
- A professional accounting qualification would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping/period-end processes.
- Genuine interest in financial software delivery, with experience in requirements elicitation (BRS, use cases, user stories).
- Familiarity with IFRS/GAAP, exposure to Agile/Scrum, and SQL proficiency.
- Any exposure to payments/collections or ERP implementation/migration.
