Business Analyst, Finance Automation – Data Design
We’re seeking individuals on different seniority levels to join our team as a Business Analyst, Finance Automation – Data Design to transform Finance data capabilities by designing scalable data solutions, enabling modern analytics, and driving migration to next-generation platforms such as Snowflake.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm’s financial and capital resources.

What you’ll do in the role:
Data Design & Data Modelling: Translate business needs into clear data requirements and scalable data models. Design efficient data flows, mappings, and structures that enable high-quality Finance reporting and analytics. Define data standards, lineage, and reusable frameworks.
Data Platform Transformation (Snowflake Migration): Play a key role in migrating Finance data to a modern Snowflake platform. Partner with data and technology teams to shape pipelines and transformation logic while ensuring data quality, consistency, and long-term usability
Analytics & AI Enablement (Cortex/AI Advantage): Unlock advanced analytics by improving data accessibility and structure. Support adoption of AI-driven insights and modern data exploration capabilities (e.g. Cortex/GenAI), helping Finance move toward data-driven decision-making.
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to gather and refine business and data requirements. Act as a trusted link between Finance, Data, and Technology, translating complex needs into practical solutions and clear recommendations.
Data Quality, Governance & Controls: Drive strong data quality and governance practices. Address data issues, define ownership and standards, and support regulatory and reporting requirements through structured, reliable data design.
Process Optimization & Automation: Identify opportunities to simplify and automate processes. Support implementation of efficient workflows and continuously improve how Finance teams' access and use data.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Experience in Business Analysis within data, reporting, or Finance environments
Ability to translate business requirements into data designs and technical specifications
Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in SQL, Python, Excel, or BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
Understanding of data modelling, data structures, and data lifecycle management
Experience working in cross-functional teams (business and technology)
Exposure to cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred)
Familiarity with data governance, data quality, or regulatory reporting frameworks
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex data topics clearly
Advantage: Experience with AI-enabled tools, analytics platforms, or Cortex capabilities
At least 2–6+ years’ relevant experience would generally be expected depending on level
