Job Description

As Business Analyst, you will be part of the COS Product Team. You will collaborate with the Product Manager and Business Experts to craft seamless experiences by understanding business objectives and technological capabilities to ensure we solve real customer problems. You will be  responsible for facilitating the development process by gathering information, supporting to prioritise backlogs and drive feature development. You will take ownership for managing Jira backlog health and Jira tickets to ensure speed, a smooth collaboration and alignment on new initiatives.
What you will do: 

  • Secure Jira governance and improvements to guidelines, ensure stakeholders are onboarded  and delivering to expectations.
  • Improve health of the backlog, increasing the % of well-defined user stories ready for development. 
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement sessions, and ensure that development tasks are well-defined and actionable.
  • Support the Product Manager with organising and leading stakeholder meetings and non-technical workshops to encourage cross-functional engagement and feedback.
  • Coordinate with operational and development teams to resolve incidents and maintain system performance.
  • Host knowledge transfer sessions or onboarding support for new team members or external consultants.​
  • Engage with UX/UI design teams to ensure business requirements are reflected in user experiences
  • Work with Data Analysts/Engineers to ensure data definitions and metrics are consistent and trustworthy​
  • Lead the creation and delivery of feature requests, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos to align with delivery progress and team goals.
  • Maintain confluence pages, or dashboards to track requirement status, business rules, and changes.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Business Analyst (BA) or Delivery Lead in previous roles.
  • Proficient in Jira and Confluence.
  • Proactively highlights risks or blockers early to proactively drive continuous improvements.
  • Proficient in writing and managing Jira tickets, ensuring thorough documentation of development work, bugs, and enhancements.
  • Experienced in managing backlog priorities: Owns backlog grooming, collaborates with the Product Manager to prioritize tasks, and contributes to strategic discussions on feature and issue prioritization.
  • Skilled in collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, address risks, and ensure alignment on upcoming initiatives.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Eager to learn and adapt.

Additional Information

This is a Full time permanent contract based at our Head Office in London.
