Business Analyst, Data Operation and Management

As a Business Analyst in the Data Operation and Management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our data's accuracy, integrity, and availability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and maintain data, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. You are also involved in designing and developing our data warehouse, which we offer to business users as a product using our big-data infrastructure. As business users rely on our data for decision-making and operations, you will have hands-on experience implementing algorithms to ensure data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Validation: Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate data from multiple sources. Ensure data accuracy and completeness by implementing validation checks and data quality standards.
• Data Maintenance and Cleanup: Regularly update and maintain databases to reflect the most current information. Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and errors.
• Data Integration: Work on data integration projects, including data mapping, transformation, and ETL processes. Collaborate with Tech teams to implement data integration solutions.
• Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, processes, and data lineage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business or related field
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize work
• 2+ years of experience with SQL
• 2+ years of experience in one of the following or related roles - Technical Project Management/ Data Analytics
• Experience in ETL and data warehousing
• Detail-oriented and good business sense
• Experience of FinTech startups or financial institutions is a plus
• Experience in data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, is a plus
