The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements from business stakeholders, coordination with the Data Analytics team, development of Business Intelligence solutions, and validating solution accuracy with support from the business.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Discover and understand different business function’s needs by performing stakeholder interviews, data profiling, and process mapping.
Analyze raw data sets, data flows, and business logic.
Understand the different terms used by the business and create common definitions.
Design, build and implement BI reports and dashboards using Power BI.
Develop a thorough understanding of the business functions.
Train users on new reports and dashboards.
Analyzes problems and determines root causes.
Coordinate project schedules and task priority.
Improves existing Power BI reports and dashboards
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience in Data Analytics
4+ years work experience with data and Analytics on complex data sets
2+ years work experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
Experience with Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and SQL
Experience with Azure platform or SSRS is a plus
Strong written and oral communications skills
Strong work ethic, and ability to work with minimal supervision
Good organizational and analytical skills utilizing structured development and problem-solving techniques
Ability to collaborate on cross-functional teams
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to a dynamic environment.
Ability to multi-task and efficiently prioritize tasks assigned.
Salary Range For Position: $75k - $90k
