Contract Assurance & Performance (CAP) assesses supplier compliance with financial and commercial contract terms, identifies value leakage and recovery opportunities, and strengthens supplier governance, controls and future contracting outcomes.
The Role
As a Business Analyst in CAP, you will support end-to-end contract compliance reviews across AstraZeneca’s supplier base. Combining contract interpretation, risk assessment, data analysis and stakeholder engagement, you will produce evidence-based findings that support financial recovery, cost avoidance and sustainable process improvements.

- Review contracts, statements of work and pricing schedules to identify obligations and financial or commercial risks.
- Support audit scoping, risk-based test planning, supplier kick-offs and process walkthroughs.
- Obtain, validate, reconcile and analyse supplier, procurement and financial data to identify non-compliance and value leakage.
- Quantify findings using clear, reproducible calculations and maintain complete, review-ready workpapers.
- Prepare concise observations, reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Manage information requests, timelines and follow-ups, escalating material risks or delays when needed.
- Support factual-accuracy, recovery and remediation discussions with internal teams and suppliers.
- Recommend improvements to contracts, controls, governance and business processes, and contribute to CAP tools, analytics, automation and AI-enabled ways of working.
