The Role
As a Consultant, you will work with clients and delivery teams to support the implementation, integration and ongoing evolution of insurance technology platforms. You will help translate business needs into practical solutions, working across capabilities such as new applications, underwriting, policy administration, and the integrations that connect these capabilities with the broader technology ecosystem.
You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle, from understanding requirements and business processes through solution design, testing and implementation. This is a hands-on consulting role where you will be expected to learn quickly, contribute actively and build credibility with clients and project teams.
Our consultants may contribute across multiple projects or workstreams, so you will need to be comfortable navigating changing priorities, new subject matter and different client environments.
What You’ll Do
- Work with clients to understand business objectives, processes and requirements, facilitating workshops and working sessions as required.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules and other relevant analysis deliverables.
- Apply your understanding of insurance processes to support solutions across illustration, applications, new business and underwriting, policy administration and related capabilities.
- Analyze business processes, integrations, data flows and system dependencies to identify gaps, impacts and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate across business, architecture, development, integration and testing teams while supporting testing, managing assigned deliverables and building effective client relationships.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, business systems analysis, insurance, technology consulting or systems implementation.
- Experience within the insurance industry and/or relevant consulting experience supporting insurance or financial services clients.
- Understanding of insurance processes such as new business, underwriting, policy administration, product management or related operations.
- Experience gathering, analyzing and documenting business and functional requirements for technology initiatives, including software implementations, integrations, transformations or significant system enhancements.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect business needs to practical technology solutions and work collaboratively with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Bonus Points For
- Exposure to APIs, interfaces, data mapping and integrated business processes.
- Experience supporting functional testing, system integration testing, UAT or defect management.
- Experience working across new technologies, business processes, competing priorities and multiple client engagements.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.

This is a hybrid role with an expectation to travel to client sites as required based on project and client needs.

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is listed below. Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary/variable bonus payment.
