The Role

Are you an experienced, tech-savvy, hard-working Business Analyst who wants to work with like-minded peers on exciting new challenges? If so, this is your opportunity to join our learning team at Fidelity Investments supporting Workplace Investing (WI) associates! The Business Analyst is a lead resource in developing in-depth analyses and improved reporting within Talent & Learning (T&L). You will research, test, and fix technology enabled solutions that optimize the modern learner’s experience. You will work closely with members of the T&L organization, other Fidelity Learning & Development groups and Workplace Investing business partners to ensure the innovative technology solutions meet the business needs of our key partners and Fidelity’s learners.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

You will drive key analysis in T&L operations from initial prioritization through final delivery and publication/review of the results. You can produce intuitive and impactful visualizations using sophisticated data sets. Will be a technical authority in the development of analysis solutions to sophisticated business needs using SharePoint, Power Automate, MS Forms and Power BI. You will deliver self-service reporting/analytics as well as respond to senior management requests for analysis. You will assist with technical knowledge and help mentor other team members. You will proactively seek opportunities to provide valuable insight while looking for continuous improvement and incorporating feedback from business partners.

  • High degree of experience in SharePoint (lists), Power Automate, MS Forms and Power BI technologies

  • Strong capabilities with Excel and PowerPoint

  • Very strong analytical, technical, problem solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage internal customers with little-to-no support

  • Ability to prioritize, strong time management and organizational skills

  • Detail oriented complemented by a focus on accuracy

  • Keen ability to build and influence relationships

  • Self-motivated teammate that can partner on solutions and work independently

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a 3+ years Financial Services and/or Analytics experience

The Business Analyst is part of the Operations group in WI Talent & Learning. We provide support for T&L associates so that they can meet the learning needs of our business partners. This role is integral to helping our organization move forward in driving vitality and crafting a culture of continuous learning in a productive and enjoyable manner, using intuitive learning technology and tools!
