We specialize in providing a robust and intuitive eCommerce platform tailored to the unique needs of automotive parts businesses. Our mission is to empower our clients to maximize their online sales potential by offering a seamless, efficient, and comprehensive digital retail experience combining our world-class platform's capabilities and solid and deep eCommerce strategy and tactics.
RevolutionParts is looking for a Business Analyst, Catalog to own the quality, completeness, and performance of our parts catalog data across OEM and aftermarket channels. This role serves as the critical link between business objectives and technical execution, focusing on how catalog data drives fitment accuracy, product discoverability, and revenue. You’ll operate at the intersection of data quality, partner relationships, and internal execution.
You’ll maintain the health of the catalog data pipeline—including ACES/PIES—by identifying gaps, sourcing missing or outdated data, and partnering with OEMs and aggregators to enhance data quality, completeness, and coverage. You’ll analyze catalog quality trends and surface clear insights to inform Product decisions. You’ll also participate in OEM data calls to capture requests and translate them into actionable work for engineering.
Over time, this role expands into full ownership of catalog enrichment—driving improvements in fitment coverage, data completeness, and attribute quality—and becomes a key contributor to catalog-driven revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Business and Data Analysis
- Define, document, prioritize, and own business requirements for the catalog platform (including ACES/PIES), ensuring alignment with revenue and product goals, and coverage across OEM and aftermarket
- Identify gaps in fitment, attributes, and coverage; source and incorporate missing or outdated data
- Validate and prepare incoming catalog data for ingestion, enforcing quality standards
- Maintain visibility into catalog health (coverage, completeness, freshness) and surface risks or gaps
- Triage and manage daily catalog add/update requests
Process Improvement
- Reduce manual or repetitive workflows through better processes and automation
- Apply AI tools to accelerate catalog processing, gap identification, and enrichment
- Define and document current-state and future-state processes to ensure consistency and scalability, focusing on maximizing business value.
OEM & Partner Liaison
- Participate in OEM and partner calls to capture data requirements, issues, and updates
- Translate external inputs into clear, actionable work items for engineering
- Coordinate with data providers to support data quality and enrichment efforts
- Track progress and keep OEM partners informed on open requests
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in data operations, catalog or content management, product operations, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a process or dataset and drive measurable improvement over time
- Functional understanding of ACES/PIES automotive data standards, or ability to quickly learn and apply structured data frameworks
- Strong analytical skills—able to identify gaps, assess data quality, and drive improvements
- Professional written and verbal communication—you can represent RevolutionParts credibly on an external call with a manufacturer’s data team
- Experience writing clear, well-structured work items or requirements (Jira or similar project management tools)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through
- Proven experience gathering, documenting, and translating complex business requirements (e.g., user stories, functional specifications) into actionable work items.
- Curious about AI and automation, and comfortable operating in ambiguity—you thrive when there's room to improve how things work
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms or automotive parts (a plus, not a requirement)
