This opportunity proposes to join the Cards Programme BU reporting to the Group CXO (Chief Experience Officer) as a Business Analyst within the “Strategic Cards Program" Team. This is ideal for individuals who aspire to play a role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of payment flows across our "future" business platforms.
We are on the lookout for:
Job vacancy: Business Analyst
You will be responsible to translate the product vision and customer pain points into streamlined business processes and structured business requirements to help the development team understand the wider business context and to enable them to have the appropriate information to build the right solutions accordingly.
In this role you will,
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements related to various Cards systems, including associated peripherals ( e.g. statement/state flows/transaction flows);
Document end-to-end payment flows, including transaction lifecycle and settlement processes.
Support system design with external/internal service providers and working together with other third-party Business Analysts to allow the creation of Cards Products;
Guide testing [for ex. certification requirements with Payment Networks];
Ensure business readiness activities which have to be executed in UATs/ Test Scripts;
Support and contribute to the documentation of "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required;
Bridge the gap between business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology partners as well as third party providers, to ensure that the platform meets business, regulatory, and operational requirements;
Deliver stakeholder engagement activities to support development of effective project working relationships and to identify and respond to stakeholder needs and concerns. (e.g. Product Owners, Developers, LoB);
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field;
4 years’ working experience as business analyst, business consultant, project or functional analyst, QA analyst, on technical projects (i.e. implementation or upgrades of banking systems).
OR
A Diploma in Computer Science or related field;
- 5 years’ working experience on cards projects
A combination of both qualifications and experience will also be considered.
You will also be required to demonstrate:
Understanding and Familiarity with card scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard, etc.);
- Project management skills;
- Some knowledge of banking systems such as Temenos T24, or card processing systems, or certain related ecosystems
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
