Clover is reinventing health insurance by working to keep people healthier.

At Clover Health, we bring high-quality, affordable, and easy-to-understand healthcare plans to America’s seniors. We focus on preventive care and leverage data and technology from the Clover Assistant to empower physicians to make the best health recommendations based on our members’ complete health history—all with the lowest cost and the highest value.

As a Business Analyst for Grievances, Appeals & Disputes (A&G), you’ll serve as a key partner in ensuring our operations are compliant, efficient, and transparent. You’ll transform data into actionable insights, strengthen operational performance, and directly impact member experience and quality outcomes across our Medicare Advantage business.

We’re prioritizing candidates in the Central or Eastern time zones for real-time collaboration.

As a Business Analyst, you will:

  • Deliver timely daily and weekly operational reports to track case volumes, timeliness, and performance against KPIs.
  • Validate A&G case inventory for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with CMS requirements.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, and IT to implement workflow enhancements and regulatory updates.
  • Support the development and integration of CMS and organizational guidance into operational systems.
  • Partner with the Quality and STARS teams to monitor decision-making metrics and drive performance improvements.
  • Prepare for audits by ensuring reporting and documentation are accurate, comprehensive, and audit-ready.
  • Provide data-driven insights to cross-functional partners and governance committees to enhance member experience.

Success in this role looks like:

  • In the first 90 days: You’ve developed a strong understanding of Clover’s A&G operations, are producing accurate daily reports, and maintaining reliable inventory validation processes.
  • In the first 6 months: You’ve streamlined reporting processes, surfaced actionable insights from trend analyses, and built strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Ongoing: You consistently deliver data accuracy, identify systemic risks, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and operational excellence.

You should get in touch if:

  • You have 2+ years of experience in healthcare operations, business analysis, or compliance (A&G/Medicare Advantage experience strongly preferred).
  • You’re highly skilled in data analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to spot trends and validate large data sets.
  • You have experience producing operational dashboards and reports using Excel and BI tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI a plus).
  • You’re familiar with CMS regulations and Complaint Tracking Module (CTM) processes.
  • You excel at communicating insights clearly and collaborating across Operations, Compliance, and IT teams.
  • You thrive in a fully remote environment and are based in the U.S. Central or Eastern time zones (working primarily on ET hours).

What We Do

Clover Health (Nasdaq: CLOV) is a physician enablement company focused on seniors who have historically lacked access to affordable, high-quality healthcare

We aim to provide great care, in a sustainable way, by having a business model built around improving medical outcomes while lowering avoidable costs. We do this while taking a holistic approach to understanding the health needs and social risk factors of those under our care. This strategy is underpinned by our proprietary software platform, the Clover Assistant, which is designed to aggregate patient data from across the health ecosystem to support clinical decision-making by presenting physicians and other providers with real-time, personalized recommendations at the point of care.

Making care more accessible is at the heart of our business, and we believe patients should have the freedom to choose their doctors. We offer affordable Medicare Advantage plans with extensive benefits, provide primary care physicians with the Clover Assistant, and also make comprehensive home-based care available via the Clover Home Care program.

With our corporate headquarters in Nashville, Clover’s workforce is distributed around the U.S. and also includes a team of world-class technologists based in Hong Kong. We manage care for Medicare Advantage members in Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Mississippi, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.

We are hiring software engineers, data scientists, designers and product folks who can help us understand our members’ wellness and steer them clear of any health risks down the road.

If you’re a passionate person and interested in changing healthcare for the better, then Clover Health may just be the place for you.
