🚀 Role OverviewAs a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. You will work closely with product, UX/UI, and engineering teams to ensure that business needs are translated into actionable user stories and functional requirements.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Elicit and gather detailed requirements from both business and technical stakeholders, proactively identifying gaps and clarifying ambiguity.
- Functional Decomposition: Understand complex business processes and break them down into clear, actionable functional requirements and workflows.
- Agile Facilitation: Facilitate core Agile practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user story creation with robust acceptance criteria.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with product, UX/UI, and engineering teams to drive alignment on frontend/backend dependencies and implementation constraints.
- Lifecycle Support: Support software and product development teams through the entire project lifecycle in fast-paced delivery environments.
- Documentation Management: Create, update, and maintain comprehensive process and product documentation, even when baseline documentation is limited.

- Experience: Strong professional experience in requirements gathering and business analysis within fast-paced software development environments.
- Process Modeling: Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical workflows.
- Agile Methodology: Deep experience working within Agile frameworks, active backlog management, and sprint collaboration.
- Technical Literacy: Solid technical understanding to communicate effectively with engineers regarding backend/frontend constraints and data dependencies.
- Communication: High proficiency in English (both written and verbal) for daily documentation, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional collaboration.
🌟 Nice-to-Have Skills
- UX/UI Awareness: Hybrid BA + UX capability to support early design thinking, wireframes, user flows, or interactive design discussions.
- Design Systems: Experience working with design systems, ideally IBM Carbon or similar enterprise design frameworks.
- Modern Frontend Familiarity: Experience working alongside React-based product teams and reusable component libraries.
- Collaboration Tools: Familiarity collaborating with UX/UI designers using Figma or similar design tools.
- Productivity Tech: Experience with AI-assisted development workflows or tools, such as Claude Code, MCPs, or similar engineering productivity tooling.
🌐 Time Zone & CollaborationThis position operates within Central Time (CT) business hours, requiring flexibility to collaborate seamlessly with distributed teams, nearshore/LATAM teams, and US-based stakeholders.
💬 LanguageAll business communication, technical documentation, sprint ceremonies, and daily stakeholder alignment will be conducted entirely in English.
Skills Required
