The opportunity
At Hitachi Energy, we’re building the ES Regional Office (ESOPC) in Madrid as part of our Grid & Power Quality Solutions business in Europe (HBUEU).
Our Grid, Power Quality Solutions and Service business in Hitachi Energy, Grid Integration is rapidly expanding the use of AI to improve productivity, optimize processes, and deliver higher value across functions. As a core contributor to the global Digital Virtual Center of Competence, you will empower teams across the value chain to adopt AI responsibly and effectively, enabling the digital and AI transformation and accelerating business and process innovation.
How you’ll make an impact
- Create AI‑powered digital assistants, automations, and collaboration tools using Copilot Studio, Power Platform, M365 etc. (pro-code is a plus).
- Build and orchestrate reusable templates, connectors, and governance toolkits to scale adoption together with IT and global teams.
- Set-up/run enablement activities: playbooks, training programs, office hours, champion networks, and structured intake.
- Qualify business needs and shape them into solution concepts aligned with enterprise data and architecture.
- Ensure compliance with responsible AI, cybersecurity requirements, and data‑governance policies.
- Deliver monitoring dashboards to track adoption, usage, and impact (time saved, errors reduced, user feedback).
- Support collaboration with Digital Thread teams to ensure consistent design patterns across the business.
Your background
- 3+ years of experience building business applications or workflow automations (Power Platform or similar).
- Energy‑systems or electrical‑domain background is a strong plus.
- Experience shaping prompts/flows and grounding AI solutions in enterprise data.
- Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages is an advantage.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
- Understanding of Responsible AI principles, cybersecurity aspects, and data‑access governance.
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus. Comfortable working across multiple time zones and global teams.
- Proven change management skills and intercultural competence
