Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst III to help define and operationalize this transformation. This role sits at the intersection of data, business processes, and technology, enabling the creation of trusted, connected, and AI-ready data foundations that support F5’s future digital identity.
This is not a traditional data management role. You will directly contribute to enabling F5’s long-term AI strategy through high-quality, connected, and insight-ready data by:
- Translating business needs into scalable data and insight solutions
- Improving how data flows across systems to enable advanced analytics and AI use cases
- Driving a shift toward data as a product, where quality, accessibility, and usability are built into our systems
- The ideal candidate combines business analysis expertise, strong data intuition, and technical fluency, with a mindset focused on automation, scalability, and impact.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and data flows to enable end-to-end data connectivity and insight generation, leveraging data quality tools, frameworks, and techniques
- Identify and implement opportunities to transition from manual data handling to automated, intelligence-driven workflows
- Contribute to building AI-ready data foundations by ensuring data is structured, governed, and accessible for predictive and machine learning use cases
- Translate business problems into data requirements that support:
- Reporting and dashboards
- Predictive analytics
- AI/ML initiatives
- Streamlined operational processes
- Design or support data governance and metadata practices that prioritize automation and usability over manual control
- Partner with engineering and architecture teams to design and deliver scalable data pipelines, models, and solutions
- Contribute to the development of data products that serve business and analytics use cases
- Participate in testing, validation, and business adoption activities (e.g., UAT)
- Support data lifecycle processes, including creation, updates, and remediation in relevant systems
- Act as a connector between business context and technical execution through clear communication and facilitation
- Surface risks, dependencies, and opportunities to inform data strategy and prioritization
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data capabilities supporting AI and advanced analytics use cases
- Contribute to evolving the team’s approach toward data transformation, insight generation, and intelligent automation
- Maximize the value of data assets through contributions to data cataloging, lineage, and development of a data marketplace
- Support resolution of data anomalies and identify patterns through profiling, validation checks, and root cause analysis

- Understanding of business transactional systems (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle EBS and PIM, Marketo, Gainsight)
- Understanding of data modeling and transformation concepts, data pipelines, and integration patterns
- Understanding of data quality and governance frameworks and workflows
- Passion for data and its value and usage
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or related roles, ideally in a SaaS or technology companies wit complex data ecosystems
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional delivery environments
- Experience with company/account hierarchy experience across multiple disconnected data sources. (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data, or a related field
- Certifications such as CBAP or Six Sigma (preferred)
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Duties are performed in a typical office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Responsibilities require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed materials.
