What’s the role
As Business Advisor to the President, you will act as a strategic partner at the heart of Shell Brazil’s leadership, shaping priorities, enabling decision-making, and ensuring seamless execution of business strategy. You will operate across organizational boundaries—supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term agenda—while driving alignment, performance, and governance at the highest level.
You will report directly to the President and work closely with the Brazil Leadership Team (LT), acting as a trusted advisor and integrator across business lines. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and stakeholder management, with high exposure to senior internal and external stakeholders.
Accountabilities:
Strategic & Leadership Support
Support the President in shaping and delivering business priorities, balancing short-term performance and long-term strategy
Drive the development, execution, and tracking of the country strategy (acting as PMO where required)
Business Performance & Execution
Ensure delivery against strategic priorities by tracking key initiatives, outcomes, and performance metrics
Manage a complex portfolio of cross-functional topics and ensure alignment across business lines
Lead/coordinate special project
Stakeholder & External Engagement
Support engagement with senior external stakeholders
Stay attuned to external developments, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and innovation levers
Governance, Communication & Integration
Structure and manage leadership meetings, improving effectiveness, alignment, and team dynamics
Maintain strong internal networks to sense emerging issues and ensure timely escalation and resolution
Develop high-quality executive communications and materials for internal and external audiences
What you bring
Must have legal authorization to work in Brazil on a full-time basis for anyone other than the current employer
University degree in any discipline (Business, Engineering, Economics, or related fields are advantageous)
5+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in strategy, business advisory, commercial, or leadership support roles within complex organizations
Strong understanding of business drivers, value creation, and financial/commercial decision-making
