We are searching for Business Advisers to join our Business Direct telephony team. If you have a passion for delivering fantastic customer service and helping customers with all their business banking needs this might be the role for you!

 

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to provide a best in class, tailor made experience to our small business customers. But don’t worry, we will coach, support and encourage you to develop the skills you need. 

 

This role works on a rotational shift basis between the hours of 8am – 8pm. The first three weeks of training will be held in person, on site, on a Monday to Friday 9 to 5 schedule.

What you’ll be doing

 

As the first point of contact for both prospective and existing customers, you'll deliver an outstanding customer experience by providing a professional, friendly, and personable service at every interaction. You'll take ownership of customer queries and requests, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and effectively.

 

Through meaningful conversations, you'll build an understanding of customers' needs and introduce the products and services best suited to help them achieve their goals. You'll also play an important role in supporting the team's wider business objectives, including helping customers make the most of our digital services and solutions.

 

Maintaining high standards of data quality and accuracy will be a key part of your role, alongside ensuring that all policies, procedures, and FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) banking regulations are consistently followed.
 

About you

 

  • Experience within customer service and a passion to go the extra mile to ensure a brilliant customer experience

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently and work to agreed deadlines. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience working within a team dynamic to provide excellent customer experience

  • Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures to ensure we keep the society and our customers safe
