About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Accountability Senior Manager.
In this role, you will:
  • Manage and develop teams of specialists and managers to oversee moderate to highly complex activities associated with the development and implementation of business-specific programs, processes, and controls which identify, assess, monitor, measure, and mitigate risk
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, risk mitigation, and control strategies
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions, interpret and develop policies and procedures, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, initiatives, protocols, and deliverables that are moderate to high-risk within scope of responsibility
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers
  • Engage and influence business heads, regulators, control management, risk, legal, and audit partners to successfully ensure appropriate management of business risk
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of risk management, business controls, or compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Delivery Intake & Triage
  • Own the centralized delivery intake process for Technology delivery initiatives.
  • Assess incoming demand for scope, priority, execution risk, stakeholder impact, and required level of support.
  • Route work to the appropriate delivery owners and aligned DRM teams based on risk, execution needs, and program maturity.
  • Maintain visibility of intake status, ownership, and next steps through a consistent tracking model.
Portfolio Monitoring & Execution Governance
  • Establish common portfolio monitoring routines across supported delivery workstreams.
  • Track progress against milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and remediation commitments.
  • Use common cadence, thresholds, and governance practices to identify execution gaps early.
  • Provide consistent leadership updates on delivery status, risk posture, and items requiring decisions or escalation.
  • Coordinate execution across Technology teams, CIO partners, control partners, and delivery stakeholders.
  • Align delivery activities to agreed priorities, timelines, ownership, and escalation paths.
  • Reduce duplicate touchpoints and handoffs by creating clear engagement expectations and operating routines.
  • Ensure work moves through the delivery lifecycle with clear accountability and timely decision-making.
Risk-Based Escalation & Issue Resolution
  • Identify at-risk initiatives, execution blockers, ownership gaps, and missed impacts through proactive monitoring.
  • Escalate delivery risks using agreed thresholds, leadership forums, and defined escalation pathways.
  • Drive resolution of delivery blockers by coordinating accountable owners and decision-makers.
  • Support earlier gap detection and stronger remediation completion through consistent tracking and follow-up.
Reporting, Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Create standardized progress reporting, delivery dashboards, and risk-based notifications for leadership and aligned teams.
  • Communicate delivery status, dependencies, risks, and decisions in a concise and executive-ready manner.
  • Facilitate operating cadences, governance reviews, and stakeholder routines for the Delivery Management portfolio.
  • Serve as the primary Delivery Management point of contact for intake, orchestration, monitoring, and escalation topics.
Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement
  • Standardize delivery playbooks, templates, engagement cadences, and escalation models.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual tracking, duplicate follow-ups, rework, and inconsistent communications.
  • Strengthening delivery management practices through automation, improved tooling, and data-driven reporting where feasible.
  • Promote a scalable approach that improves visibility, prioritization, accountability, and execution discipline.
Job Expectations:
  • 7+ years of strong experience in Delivery Management, Portfolio Management, Program Management, PMO, or Technology Transformation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex delivery portfolios with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and execution risks.
  • Strong governance, reporting, escalation, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to design and operate intake, prioritization, monitoring, and escalation frameworks.
  • Comfort working with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with ability to turn fragmented information into clear execution plans and leadership insights.
  • People leadership experience with the ability to set direction, build capability, and drive accountability.
  • Create a single, consistent Delivery Management operating model for intake, triage, progress tracking, risk identification, and escalation.
  • Provide leadership visibility into delivery health, execution gaps, dependencies, and emerging risks.
  • Coordinate execution across Technology stakeholders using standardized communications, reporting, and escalation pathways.
  • Move the delivery management function from reactive follow-up to proactive, risk-based monitoring and orchestration.
