Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Accountability Associate to support the processing of new loan accounts within the bank. In this role, you will review loan-related documentation, validate the completeness and accuracy of required documents, and ensure all requirements and outstanding issues are resolved prior to account opening. You will partner closely with Financial Advisors and other key stakeholders to facilitate a seamless onboarding process while adhering to established policies and procedures.
The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with U.S.-based stakeholders in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in and provide support for low-complexity matters pertaining to the business' policy and regulatory adherence, risk mitigation, or control efforts
- Research, review, document, and present findings related to issues, records, policies, and procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained
- Receive direction from supervisors and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, records, and other business information
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to implement actions in support of risk-mitigation and control initiatives
- 6+ months of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in underwriting, credit analysis, lending, or related financial services functions.
- Proven experience reviewing loan documentation, loan memoranda, and other credit-related documents.
- Strong understanding of credit principles and lending processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with Financial Advisors and U.S.-based stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and demonstrate leadership potential.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline preferred.
- Experience within organizations with comparable lending or underwriting processes is highly desirable.
- Amenable to working a fixed night shift aligned with U.S. business hours (approximately 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM or 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM during Daylight Saving Time).
- Amenable to having weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as regular rest days.
- Amenable to observing the U.S. holiday calendar.
- Willing to work fully onsite at Five Neo, BGC during the first two months of training.
- Amenable to transitioning to a hybrid work arrangement after training, with three days onsite and two days remote per week.
- Willing to be based at Five Neo, Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.
