We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Lévis, Quebec, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. As a Burner-Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting metal plates using an oxyfuel cutting system.
What you’re responsible for:
- Inspect equipment at the start of each shift
- Ensure equipment is in good working order and report any anomalies to your immediate supervisor
- Analyze the work environment before using the torch to cut oversized metal parts according to department requirements
- Proceed with dismantling while respecting the integrity of the metals in order to maximize their value
- Keep the premises clean at all times
- Perform any other related tasks as requested
To join our team:
- You have at least two years of experience in metal cutting
- You have a good knowledge of metals (an asset)
- You are well aware of occupational health and safety (OHS) rules
- You are in good physical condition and have good manual skills
- You are independent, methodical, and proactive
- You are diligent, conscientious, and demonstrate good judgment in your work
- You are comfortable working in a noisy, dusty environment exposed to variable outdoor conditions (heat or cold)
