Role Purpose
Responsible for the maintenance of the service loaner fleet.
Leadership
This position does not lead others.
Core Accountabilities
- Ensure proper documentation to include drivers license, insurance card and fuel payment credit card if applicable, is received and maintained in the dealership and a signed loaner contract is sent to or provided to every client when a vehicle is loaned out.
- Provides availability data to Service Advisor or Cashier to assist with scheduling as well as updating and monitoring scheduler to ensure loaner capacity is accurate each day.
- Ensures each vehicle loaner is cleaned, fueled and in safe operating condition prior to loan-out including any and all maintenance is performed by Service Dept. All dealer plates. Performs a physical inspection of vehicles as they are returned, noting any damage or maintenance required.
Competencies and Qualifications
1. High School Diploma
2. 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service orientated environment preferred
3. Can adapt and embrace change with an internal and external customer centric mindset
4. Act as an advocate for teammates and have a strong commitment to technology advancement
5. Possesses effective communication skills: oral, written, listening.
6. Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers.
