ECS is seeking a Bulletin Writer to work in our Norman, OK office.
- Writes and edits maintenance bulletins and newsletters
- Evaluates the quality, completeness, and accuracy of documentation deliverables submitted by USPS Suppliers. Ensures that documents are prepared in accordance with established standards, specifications, and guidelines (Contract, Statement of Work, development guide, template guide, etc.).
- Records discovered defects or comments and associated references clearly and unambiguously. Consolidates reviews from multiple reviewers, ensuring consistency and clarity.
- Formats technical information to established specifications by using word processing applications such as Microsoft Word. Creates or modifies word processing templates as needed and directed.
- Ability to utilize photos and drawings effectively to convey information in maintenance bulletins and newsletters.
- Researches and analyzes various types of information (engineering change orders, comment cards, etc.) for impact to documentation.
- Creates and evaluates documented processes and work instructions, and makes recommendations for improvements and efficiencies.
- Works efficiently and effectively to ensure all assigned tasks are completed within imposed time constraints.
- Reports status of tasks to management and team members.
- Proficient with MS Office or other productivity software suites.
- Proficient in technical and/or engineering documentation development to include having a baseline level of writing proficiency or ability to apply stylistic writing requirements based on a set of guidelines.
- Possess demonstrable combination of technical training/education and general working level knowledge of industrial equipment systems (mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, software, and machine communications).
