Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Budget Specialist to work on-site at the Air Force Institute of Technology at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Interface with the budget team and Senior Leaders providing budget analysis support
  • Support management and maintenance of budgetary plans and programs involving issues and concerns associated with the daily operations of the financial management and budget office
  • Montior the Defense Travel System queue of orders, vouchers, Government Purchase Card requests and statements
  • Assist with creating and updating administrative tracking logs
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • BS/BA degree in Accounting and Finance or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Office Suite Software applications, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI background investigation
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
