· Ensure proper classification of procurement transactions and coordinate necessary adjustments with departments.
· Assist with preparing monthly financial reports and distributing monthly reports to department managers.
· Assist with the development of the campus’s annual budget and support staff in preparing budgets and budget justifications for new proposals.
· Serve as the campus lead for compliance on purchasing, travel expenses, employee expense reports, and grants.
· Assist with training new and existing employees on procurement policies and systems.
· Serve as a purchasing card administrator for the campus
· Review contracts for accuracy and ensure the contracts are entered into the College’s Contract Management System.
· Prepare daily bank deposits and assist with the monthly cash and cash clearing account reconciliations.
· Maintain gift and grant funds by tracking appropriate expenses, submitting invoices and processing checks to and from the foundation, notifying leadership of any issues.
· Train project directors on reading and interpreting budgets in the finance system.
· Provide guidance on financial grant management to project directors.
· Collaborate with the College’s Sponsored Programs (Grants) office on grant requirements, budget approvals, and post award compliance expectations.
· Learn and apply grant workflows within the College’s finance system, including routing, approvals, and post award monitoring.
Hiring Range:
This role is budgeted between $45,000 and $55,000 per year.

Typical business work hours, may be adjusted during peak times.
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or 4-6 years of related experience
· This is an in-person position with the potential for limited hybrid flexibility after successful onboarding.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous experience in a higher education institution or nonprofit organization.
