Qualifications

  • Provide analysis, development, and preparation of business and financial management transactions and documents.
  • Support financial analyses of program budgets and execute budget planning activities in order to achieve business management objectives.
  • Analyze financial management reports and business processes to determine enhancements and efficiencies needed to improve business management performance.
  • Track and report on project performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all Project/Product funds.
  • Ensure financial products produced comply with DoD, and Federal regulations, laws, policies and standards while generating and maintaining the appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Research and recommend corrective actions and solution(s) to resolve complex financial problems and issues.
  • Effectively manage deadlines to provide quality financial products for a portfolio of contracts.
  • Prepare and conduct senior level presentations or briefings.
  • Work daily in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) assisting in the creation of Purchase Requisitions, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) (Direct and Reimbursable), Purchase Orders (Direct and Reimbursable), Funds Commitment Documents, Cost Transfers, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Elements.

Must have familiarity with:

  • Unfunded Requirements requests
  • Input to Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) submissions
  • Program Management Review slides
  • Quarterly Program Review slides

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years DoD budget experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Microsoft Excel Advanced User

Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)

Skills Required
