Lead the Consumer Experience expertise to design intelligent brand experiences that move people and drive digital transformation for the newly established Toblerone & World Trade Retail BU.
How you will contribute
1. Set and drive the CX vision and strategy
  • Champion the CX purpose and embed "Design intelligent brand experiences that move people" across BU brands

  • Architect and implement the annual BU CX roadmap in line with Marketing BU & Global CX priorities

  • Ensure all brand experiences are designed holistically across the full Paid, Owned, Earned ecosystem with specific focus on social channels

  • Ensure CX Journeys are grounded in culture, integrate latest CX trends and are future-focused (long term vs short term)

2. Elevate Creative and Experience Excellence
  • Partner with brand teams and agencies to deliver data-powered, emotionally resonant creative ideas, fit for purpose content and assets

  • Champion Empathy at scale, our Mondelez' approach to brand building through personalized communication rooted in real consumer understanding

  • Lead the adoption of Gen AI and next-generation tools to enhance storytelling, personalization, and speed to market

  • Apply CX Journey principles to identify and activate the moments that matter for BU brands (Smart Brand Playbook principles)

3. Drive Media Investment Efficiency & Effectiveness
  • Optimize BU Media Investment, evolving our media mix to stay ahead of shifts in consumer behaviour and media consumption

  • Drive data-led media planning and measurement across the consumer journey

  • Guide JBP partner and retail / d-Commerce investment strategies to achieve core elements of MDLZ SP and Vision 2030

  • Collaborate with agencies & I&A to optimize ROI, sufficiency, and compliance

4. Strengthen Partnership and Governance Excellence
  • Lead collaboration with creative, media, JBP & other partners to ensure seamless integration and shared accountability

  • Define partnership governance, and success metrics to drive clarity and performance

5. Embed Digital marketing transformation and roadmap
  • Drive digital transformation through leadership of Global Consumer Digital and d-Commerce Strategy

6. Lead the development and implementation of Consumer Digital Strategy for Toblerone World Trade Retail
  • Take the ownership of Owned / Earned channels including Influencers Management: Define the O&E experience strategy to bring brand purpose to life specifically on social channels through smart and relevant activations

  • Perform periodic audits of social media channels, websites and digital content to ensure it aligns with brand guidelines for voice, optimisation and suitability

  • Lead the development of an always-on content calendar for owned and earned channels

  • Input into tagging / tracking requirements

  • Manage the relevant agencies to ensure best in class service and performance against the briefs and aligned metrics

7. Work with internal and external teams/functions
  • Brand managers: support to define comms strategy and both short and long term priorities

  • Global Digital and d-Comm COE: Assist in the development and implementation of the Digital Transformation agenda within the BU by collaborating with COEs

  • BU/CU CX Team: Close collaboration with the CX teams in the markets to guarantee the successful implementation of the central strategies and the proper landing, as well as strong governance

  • Creative & Media Insights (I&A): Partner with I&A business teams by providing key digital insights to drive data-driven decision making

  • Technology infrastructure (MDS): Partner with the MDS team to guarantee that data and technology strategies and tools are effectively implemented and utilized to influence successful marketing and communication strategies

  • Marketing Excellence: Support and drive Marketing capability programs

  • Media Procurement: Support the Productivity and other financial KPIs

  • Agency Management: Oversee and collaborate with the Creative, Media, and Production agencies in ensuring high standards of service, effective governance, persistent creativity, and the development of consumer-centric ideas that fuel both short and long term growth

What you will bring
  • 10 years+ experience - including extensive experience in leading digital marketing, developing strategies, and demonstrating a proven track record of success in achieve marketing goals

  • Passion for digital innovation, emerging technologies, and modern creativity (Gen AI, personalization, social influence)

  • Efficiency & effectiveness (ROI) and cost optimization

  • Champion Business transformation and change management

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams & external partners.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across multiple senior stakeholders

  • Strategic future forward thinker with strong commercial acumen and analytical rigor
