BSR Payroll Senior Analyst

Position Summary

GSK is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a BSR (Balance Sheet Reconciliation) Payroll Senior Analyst. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of payroll reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience in payroll operations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to navigate cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly payroll reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards, while driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• ⁠Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll records, proposing corrective actions as needed.
• ⁠Partner with Finance, Human Resources, and third-party vendors to address payroll-related queries and issues.
• ⁠Prepare reconciliation reports and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
• ⁠Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, tax obligations, and internal governance standards.
• ⁠Maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when handling sensitive employee and company information.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in payroll processes, accounting, or financial reconciliation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll systems and ERPs (e.g., SAP, Workday) and advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll regulations and labor legislation.
• Language Proficiency: Intermediate level of English (spoken and written).
• Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
