Arch Capital Services, LLC., seeks Business Systems Analyst III in Raleigh, NC.
Job Duties:
Work with the business users and DPM to accurately capture all stakeholder requests and translate them into system specifications which typically include functional, non-functional, user interface, reports, and external interface specifications. Work with software engineers to ensure that the engineering realization is in accordance with the business specification. Work with the testers to ensure that all software components are tested adequately and participate in Quality Assurance testing as the IT workload requires. Provide guidance to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve project and program goals. Manage requirements risks by proactively tracking and communicating issues and devising methods to mitigating them. Liaise with other project and program areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues. Analyze, map, and communicate current state and future state business processes. Support business units in the resolution of in-depth user questions and issues. Maintain a working knowledge of new technology and business analysis standards and practices. Collaborate with IT administration to define and develop documentation, and business analysis artifact standards, guidelines, processes, and templates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related position.
Must have:
- 5 years of experience with business analysis processes, techniques, and work product including SWOT Analysis, Use Case modelling, Interviewing and Sampling using MS Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote, Teams).
- 5 years of experience supporting a product development team and working with business users to design product requirements.
- 5 years of experience in Agile software development processes and assisting in running various ceremonies including standup and refinement.
- 3 years of experience with user experience design for web applications.
- Experience creating technical specifications documentation on the back of functional specifications shared by business teams.
- Experience ensuring socialization of process and specification documents with development team and gathering feedback.
Weekends and/or overtime required to support business unit for resolution of business questions and issues. Hybrid role model position with 2 days working in office and 3 days remote from within normal commuting distance of the office location.
