The producer works as part of the production team to bring creative ideas and projects to life. They work on all stages of production and on projects across a range of mediums, including TV, web video, live action, animation, content creation and post-production editing and audio, social media assets, radio, 3D motion, and everything in between. They collaborate closely with production partners, creatives, and the agency’s client services team to successfully manage projects.
ResponsibilitiesReview new project requests; advise on budgets and timing; and create work-back schedules and budgets for assigned projects.
Act as the primary production authority from kickoff to delivery; champion innovative approaches; demonstrate project management excellence and cross-functional leadership; and lead small-scale through complex integrated productions, including multiple concurrent projects.
Present projects, estimates, and production processes at client presentations; and coordinate communication through meetings and Slack notes across accounts, creative, content, freelancers, production houses, directors, and audio partners.
Review project assets and outputs before client feedback or final trafficking; and identify broadcast production process improvements.
Manage all talent documentation, including contract creation, uploads, cycle tracking, residual payments, and related activities.
Source and research production partners as required; monitor new industry players, techniques, and trends; and propose creative solutions to problems that arise.
Manage production billing; and create and track estimates, invoices, and POs.
Manage monthly revenue reporting, project actuals, and forecasts for the following month; produce agency and client internal videos, case studies, and sizzle reels; and mentor junior producers.
5+ years of experience in live action video production, in a creative agency environment
