The Broadcast Engineer supports QVC, and provides first- and second-tier technical support for live show and offline production environments.
You'll help keep critical broadcast systems running across control room, transmission, media operations, production, and engineering. In this hands-on onsite role, you'll troubleshoot issues in real time, repair or replace equipment, escalate when needed, and support engineering projects that directly impact live broadcast quality and continuity.
Where You'll Work
This role is onsite and will require you to work from West Chester, PA daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
What You'll Do
Provide first- and second-tier support for live show and offline production systems across video, audio, control room, and transmission environments
Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting digital video and audio signals to support quality 24x7x365 broadcast operations
Perform preventive maintenance on broadcast equipment at the component or board level, and replace equipment or escalate issues when needed
Monitor live and non-live channel output and use network monitoring tools to troubleshoot, and document equipment or system issues
Support equipment installation, setup, debugging, asset intake, and repair parts identification for ongoing engineering projects and daily operations
What You'll Bring
3+ years of directly related broadcast engineering experience in a television broadcast environment, including troubleshooting broadcast equipment and systems
Hands-on knowledge of broadcast systems and equipment such as still store, clip playout, graphics systems, cameras and robotics, switchers, routers, intercom, wireless IFBs, and microphones
Experience troubleshooting technical issues and explaining them to users at different levels, knowing when to repair, replace or escalate
Technical degree, related military training, or equivalent directly related experience

Skills Required
