Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP BRIM & Convergent Invoicing Implementation:
  Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Convergent Invoicing as part of the SAP BRIM suite, ensuring accurate and efficient invoicing processes for customers across various business models (e.g., subscription-based, usage-based).
• Integration with Other SAP Modules:
  Integrate SAP Convergent Invoicing with other components of SAP BRIM, such as SAP Convergent Charging, SAP Subscription Billing, and SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR). Ensure smooth end-to-end billing and revenue management operations.
• Billing & Invoicing Configuration:
  Configure complex billing scenarios within SAP Convergent Invoicing, including multi-currency, multi-country, and multi-business models, ensuring the system supports various pricing, charging, and invoicing requirements.
• Revenue Recognition:
  Collaborate with finance teams to ensure that invoicing aligns with the organization’s revenue recognition policies and best practices, particularly in compliance with IFRS 15 and ASC 606.
• System Monitoring & Optimization:
  Monitor and optimize SAP Convergent Invoicing for performance, ensuring the system’s stability, scalability, and uptime. Implement best practices for invoicing efficiency and resolve any issues related to invoicing accuracy.
• Customization & Enhancements:
  Customize SAP Convergent Invoicing functionality to meet specific business requirements. Work with development teams to create custom solutions or enhancements as needed to address unique business needs.
• Troubleshooting & Support:
  Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP Convergent Invoicing, including data inconsistencies, integration issues, and billing discrepancies. Ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Reporting & Analytics:
  Utilize SAP reporting tools to create invoicing-related reports for stakeholders. Provide analytics on billing efficiency, revenue recognition, customer billing trends, and invoicing accuracy.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
  Work closely with internal teams, including business analysts, functional consultants, and project managers, to gather requirements and ensure that invoicing processes are aligned with business needs. Document all configurations, customizations, and operational procedures.
• Training & Knowledge Transfer:
  Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams and end-users on SAP Convergent Invoicing functionality and best practices to ensure effective use of the system.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Minimum of [X] years of hands-on experience with SAP Convergent Invoicing and SAP BRIM.
  • Strong experience with end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Convergent Invoicing in large-scale, complex environments.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SAP Convergent Invoicing, SAP BRIM, SAP Subscription Billing, SAP RAR, and related SAP modules.
  • Strong knowledge of invoicing processes, billing scenarios, and integration with other SAP systems such as SAP CRM, SAP FICO, and SAP SD.
  • Familiarity with SAP tools for integration, such as SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or other middleware platforms.
  • Experience with SAP’s ABAP or customization for extending standard functionality is an advantage.
• Business Process Knowledge:
  • Solid understanding of billing, invoicing, and revenue management processes, particularly in industries like telecommunications, utilities, or subscription-based businesses.
  • Knowledge of global billing regulations and compliance standards, such as IFRS 15 and ASC 606.
• Problem-Solving:
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve invoicing and integration issues promptly.
• Communication:
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into business terms and communicate effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications:
  • SAP Certification in BRIM or Convergent Invoicing is highly desirable.
  • ITIL or project management certifications are a plus.
• Industry Experience:
  • Experience in industries such as telecommunications, utilities, or digital services where complex billing and invoicing solutions are critical to business operations.
• Agile Methodologies:
  • Experience working in Agile environments, familiarity with Agile project management tools, and the ability to adapt to changing business requirements.
