Required Experience and Skills:

  • 2+ years hands-on experience with Braze or comparable marketing automation platform
  • Good knowledge of HTML, SQL, and Liquid templating
  • Understanding of digital marketing concepts: segmentation, journeys, personalization, consent
  • Experience working with data layers, CDPs, APIs, and tag managers (e.g. GTM) is a plus
  • Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset, capable of working in a fast-paced project environment

Domain-Specific Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support the implementation of Braze for global clients, enabling scalable cross-channel engagement strategies.
  • Translate client requirements into executable Braze configurations and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Act as the bridge between marketing, data, engineering, and client stakeholders.
  • Work with native Braze features including Canvas, Currents, Catalogs, Connected Content, Liquid, and Segment filters.
  • Contribute to data strategy, segmentation design, and behavioral trigger setup.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and build cross-channel customer journeys using Braze Canvas.
  • Create data models and segment logic based on customer profiles, behavior, and lifecycle events.
  • Develop content personalization using Liquid and integrate external data via Connected Content.
  • Provide technical documentation and ensure QA for campaigns and trigger logic.
  • Maintain platform governance and campaign scalability standards.
  • Act as an expert for Braze in solution design, pitches, and technical workshops.
  • Maintain awareness of Braze product roadmap, features, and implementation best practices.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of Merkle's MarTech capabilities.
