Role Overview:
A Branded Products Territory Manager drives sales growth by managing relationships with key accounts and promoting branded technology solutions within a defined geographic area. This role involves strategic planning, customer engagement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet revenue targets and expand market share. Success in the role requires deep product knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
A Sample of What You’ll Do in this Role:
- Promote and deliver research data supporting Branded Products to generate interest and validate local fit.
- Advocate for products that deliver grower value through cost savings, yield improvement, or quality enhancement.
- Lead and support internal sales team, dealer, and grower product meetings.
- Provide pricing guidance and support for Branded Products.
- Assist in developing and executing annual business plans with district sales management to meet or exceed expected budgets.
- Communicate product updates, positioning, and support materials across all levels of Wilbur-Ellis within the region.
- Drive sales performance and goal achievement.
- Ensure efficient use of internal systems (PROS for pricing, ADAPT for forecasting, and Business Planning Template).
What You Bring to this Role:
- 5 years of sales experience preferred
- Strong Agronomic background is required
- Experience scouting crops and making recommendations is preferred
- Strong Nutrition background with a solid understanding of the fertilizer business
- Understanding research trials and the value of data
- Skills in assisting with creation and maintenance of product sales support materials for the region with direction from the Branded Products and Strategic Marketing teams
- Experience supporting the development and implementation of internal and external marketing programs
- Experience managing a sales portfolio and executing a written business plan
- Experience working with product forecasts
- Basic understanding of pricing principles and margin generation

- You have experience providing sales coaching and motivation
- You have a high degree of leadership ability including building relationships with cross-functional team members
- You have excellent written and verbal and presentation communication skills
- You have strong time management skills with the ability to set priorities
- You’re skilled in creative and critical thinking, especially around idea initiation for new branded products working in collaboration with Product Development
Compensation and Benefits:
- In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $104,900 - $146,920. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
- This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
