Job Description

This is a HYBRID ROLE requiring regular in-office presence at our headquarters in Denver, Colorado Tuesday-Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Monday and Friday based on business needs.

We’re searching for a Brand Marketing Manager in Denver, Colorado who can bring TRUEWERK’s story to life and amplify it across every channel. In this role, you’ll lead brand storytelling, execute smart strategy, and deliver campaigns that build awareness and long-term brand love. You’ll shape our social media presence with a bold point of view, guiding a Social Media Specialist to create thumb-stopping content and authentic engagement. Beyond social, you’ll own cross-channel campaigns, content planning, and partnership programs that deepen community connections and spotlight our ambassadors—fueling TRUEWERK’s ambitious growth.

Our ideal candidate is highly creative and proactive, with a passion for brand building and the ability to thrive in a small, nimble team. We’re looking for someone who can balance big-picture vision with precise execution, bringing strong organizational skills and attention to detail to every project. Strong communication skills are a must, with the ability to craft clear briefs, give constructive feedback, and confidently collaborate with internal teams, customers, and creators. If you’re a storyteller who is excited to mentor others and make a visible impact in a fast-growing, high-autonomy startup environment — we want to hear from you!

This role reports to the Director of Brand Marketing and collaborates closely with Marketing, Creative, Product, Sales, and external teams to make the TRUEWERK brand impossible to ignore.

Brand Strategy & Storytelling

  • Champion bold brand initiatives across content, campaigns, social media, and storytelling to strengthen our presence in every channel.
  • Partner with product and creative teams to craft irresistible product stories and lead brand-led initiatives for impactful GTM launches.
  • Elevate TRUEWERK’s founder-led Werkshop series into a must-watch centerpiece of our storytelling strategy.
  • Fuel constant innovation by tracking industry trends, competitor strategies, and shifts in digital brand behavior—and turning insights into fresh ideas.

Social Media, Campaigns & Content Creation

  • Shape a distinctive organic social strategy with clear content pillars, smart publishing cadence, platform-specific approaches, and performance insights.
  • Inspire and coach the Social Media Specialist to deliver engaging, on-brand content while maintaining alignment with voice and priorities.
  • Lead multi-channel campaigns from brief to launch—writing creative briefs, managing timelines, and collaborating with internal and external creative teams to deliver best-in-class work.

Partnerships, Events & Community Engagement

  • Help build and nurture a vibrant community around the Brand by supporting partnerships, ambassador engagement, and cross-channel storytelling.
  • Lead brand activations at key events and trade shows, collaborating with internal teams to create immersive experiences and high-impact content on-site.
  • Represent TRUEWERK in relevant industry and community spaces, strengthening connections and increasing brand visibility.

Qualifications

  • Currently residing in or willing to relocate to the Denver, Colorado area.
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-channel marketing or brand roles, with a strong focus on social media strategy, content creation, and brand storytelling.
  • Experience in the Apparel or Outdoor industry with high-growth, disruptive, or mission-driven brands preferred.
  • Familiarity with or a passion for supporting the skilled trades is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience leading organic social media strategies across major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and driving engagement growth.
  • Proven track record of developing campaigns and brand moments that resonate culturally and strengthen brand equity.
  • Experience guiding internal teams, collaborating cross-functionally, and working with external partners or agencies to deliver high-quality creative work. Management of social media teams, creative partners, agencies, or freelance content creators is a plus.
  • Proficiency with project management platforms — we use Monday.com.
  • Comfort using data, analytics, and audience insights to inform strategy and guide decision-making; experience in Google Sheets, Magento, and Klaviyo preferred.

The Company

Year Founded: 2015

What We Do

Truewerk began with the belief that we could make today’s workers safer and look sharper by creating workwear using modern materials, greater attention to detail, and a stronger connection to the job site.

We started with systems currently used by elite military personnel and professional mountain guides, then optimized them for use in modern trades—from surveyors and rope access technicians to solar panel installers, roofers, and heavy equipment operators.

Truewerk was founded on a simple but strong conviction that business should be a platform for advancing humanity, not just profiting from it.

For this reason, we carry our mission to make today's workers more comfortable and more productive even beyond the clothing they wear. We seek to support, educate and inspire our customers to be stronger and smarter than today's job. And to celebrate the connection between themselves and the tools and technology that surround and enable their work.
