Scion is paving a path in student living and we’re seeking a talented Brand Manager to join us in executing our vision. This position will focus on upholding the integrity and delivering the intent of Scions community brands.
The Brand Manager is a strategic leader that excels in a fast-paced, agile, corporate environment. This role demands principled thinking, well-honed people management skills, agility in brand and corporate copywriting and an unapologetic ferocity for upholding brand standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure Scion’s community brand standards are consistently applied through regular audits and evaluations across digital and physical spaces.
- Identify brand inconsistencies, escalate as needed, and collaborate cross-departmentally to improve the resident experience.
- Contribute expertise to departmental initiatives and collaborate across departments to integrate Scion’s brand strategy into all business areas.
- Provide tools and resources to support team members' compliance with brand standards across digital and physical spaces.
- Lead strategy of annual campaigns, collaborating with Marketing to ensure alignment with lead goals, marketing strategy, and overarching sales goals.
- Oversee execution of promotional online stores for all brands, ensuring brand standards are upheld and budget is aligned with established benchmarks.
- Manage the daily creative workflow to ensure alignment with Scion’s community corporate brand strategy.
- Connect reputation data to resident data, providing insights to the broader organization through regular KPI reporting.
- Manage reputation activities, including responding to customer reviews and maintaining Scion’s communities’ presence on Google, Yelp, and social media.
- Oversee reputation management workflow to maintain review response rates at established benchmarks.
- Develop resources to support review campaigns in collaboration with partner departments.
- Support the execution of company brand rollouts, including scheduling, budgeting, communication, training, and logistics.
- Plan, allocate, and reconcile budgeted funds for brand rollout projects.
- Travel to communities as needed to deliver brand training and conduct in-person audits.

What We Require
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, and/or relevant field of study or experience.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience and 3 years of brand, marketing or communication experience.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and problem-solving skills; Attentive to detail.
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Manages multiple projects and meets goals and deadlines timely and consistently; Requires minimal guidance to accomplish general tasks.
- Works well independently, as a member of various teams and with all levels of management.
- Versatile, flexible, and thrives in an environment where there are constantly changing priorities.
- Adept at building customer relationships
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; ClickUp and Entrata is a plus.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Values and fosters a sensitive and supportive approach to a diverse working and living environment.
Operational Details
- Job location is based at Scion’s Chicago corporate headquarters.
- Working hours consist of standard daytime business hours.
- Willing and able to travel up to 30%, paid by the company.

The base salary range for this full-time position is base + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
