Owns the end-to-end business performance of one or more brands across Latin America, leading strategy, P&L, portfolio, innovation, pricing/NRM, and integrated communications, all executed through distributors. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, strategic vision, cross-functional leadership, influence without authority, and operational excellence across multiple countries.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Define short-, medium-, and long-term brand strategy, tailored to the realities of each country.
- Lead the annual Brand Plan by country, including priorities, investments, KPIs, and the growth roadmap.
- Ensure the global strategy is appropriately translated into each market.
- Manage the regional P&L, including net sales, margin, contribution, A&P, and return on investment.
- Lead the NRM and pricing agenda, including pack-price architecture, elasticities, margins, and portfolio mix.
- Partner with Finance and Sales to close performance gaps and maximize profitability.
- Coordinate with distributors on forecasting, pricing corridors, channel portfolio, promotions, and execution governance.
- Assess and optimize the quality of local plans.
- Strengthen execution capabilities and regional consistency across assigned brands.
- Lead the full innovation pipeline, including concepts, claims, packaging, business cases, and launch plans.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, local adaptation, and OTIF execution.
- Analyze post-launch performance and define corrective actions.· Analyze NIQ/Kantar data to understand market share, penetration, pricing, elasticities, and competition.
- Monitor distributor KPIs, including sell-out, ACV/TDP, pricing, and promotional ROI.
- Identify opportunities and threats by country.
- Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Trade Marketing, Finance, Regulatory, R&D, and global teams.Lead regional business reviews and present strategies to directors and senior stakeholders.
Education and Experience
- BA/BS Communications, or Industrial Engineering required; MBA strongly preferred
- Native spanish and advances English. Portuguese is a plus
- 5–8+ years of experience in FMCG/CPG brand roles; regional or multi-country experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with P&L management, pricing, NRM, and financial analysis.
- Strong command of 360° campaigns, innovation, and agency management.
- Advanced proficiency in NIQ/Kantar and commercial analysis.
- Experience working in distributor-operated markets.
