We are looking for a dynamic and execution-focused Brand Manager to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This role will play a critical part in delivering high-impact sponsorships, brand activations, and marketing initiatives, while ensuring strong alignment to the overall brand strategy and customer experience.

ResponsibilitiesSponsorship & Sports Marketing
- Lead key sponsorships (Comrades, Midmar Mile, Team SA)
- Plan and execute campaigns, activations, and events
- Manage athletes, ambassadors, and key stakeholders
- Oversee budgets, timelines, and delivery
Maxed Elite Running Team
- Manage the running programme, athletes, and budgets
- Ensure alignment to brand and product objectives
Sustainability & CSI
- Drive communication and campaigns for key initiatives
- Manage events, partnerships, and stakeholder relationships
Strategy & Project Delivery
- Support marketing strategy and customer experience plans
- Coordinate projects, timelines, and cross-team delivery
Internal Communication & Reporting
- Lead team communication, reporting, and presentations
- Ensure alignment through clear updates and insights
Budget Management (Full)
- Manage campaign and sponsorship budgets
- Oversee financial admin, reporting, and compliance
Additional Support Areas
- Store launches and retail marketing
- Customer insights and surveys
- Content, PR, and digital support
- Account/credit marketing initiatives
People & Collaboration
- Support team delivery and performance
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment
- Degree in Marketing
- 4-5 years in a similar role
- Proven experience in brand management, sponsorships, or sports marketing
- Strong project management and execution capability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong commercial and budget management understanding
- A passion for sport, events, and brand storytelling
