JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you a creative and passionate marketeer with a love for ice cream? Do you have a knack for branding and a growth mindset? Then this role is tailored for you. GB Glace is looking for an Ice Cream Brand Manager to lead the local impulse singles and multipack portfolio and activation in Sweden.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will have responsibility to drive the strategic business and marketing agenda for your portfolio ensuring competitiveness, market leadership and E2E P&L ownership.
The role includes:
• Build brand plans based on market insights, consumer and shopper trends, NRM principles, channel insights and competitor understanding.
• Own the long-term portfolio plans and lead local innovation projects including building business cases, drive projects through the innovation process, artwork management and working closely with customer development teams.
• Build and execute brand 360 plans e.g. media, PR, consumer promotions, channel / retail specific marketing programs as well as owning the shopper marketing strategy and execution.
• Analyzing and reporting of your brand’s business results i.e. regular monitoring of performance and innovation tracking to make recommendations and optimizing the portfolio and future plans.
• Lead brand agenda in collaboration with cross functional team (CBD, CMI, central teams).
• Responsible for the allocated media budget incl spend reconciliation and timely vendor payment.
• As a Brand Manager, you will engage with different cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Ice Cream Nordics and establish close collaborations with EU platform teams.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
· Entrepreneurial spirit, growth and ‘let’s do it’ mindset – someone who seeks out the opportunities.
· Strong business acumen with a desire for empowerment to develop and build brand plans.
· Good understanding of media principles, strategy and planning.
· Strong analytical skills to utilize data and consumer insights to make informed decisions.
· Strong communication skills to become a brand advocacy.
· Strong P&L and Business Case understanding.
· IT literacy & Nielsen understanding.
· Language requirements English and Swedish.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• Master’s degree.
• 2-4 years of brand management experience in an FMCG environment.
• Proven ability as a creative and innovative thinker with experience working effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Must possess excellent analytical abilities and strong project management skills.
• Exhibit a strong bias for action and accountability for both self and others.
• Demonstrated understanding of and experience in digital and social media platforms and technology.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Experience with customer facing responsibilities a plus.

This is a parental leave cover and the start date is June 2025, we will proceed with interviews asap. This role will be based in Solna, Sweden. To be taken into consideration for this role, you will need to hold a valid working permit for.
